State Counsel for Parents and Family
The education of children is a responsible and sometimes difficult task. Within its context parents can get into situations, where counsel from the outside can help to cope with this responsibility. In the Social Security Code VIII the family’s claim to free support in terms of state counsel is regulated.
The Jugend- und Familienberatung (Youth- and Family Counsel) at the Department for Youth and Family of the City of Hanover advises parents, youths and families in regard to educational questions und problematic domestic situations.
Separation and divorce represent a difficult situation for both parents and children. The parents’ intercourse is often fraught with conflict. Still, the parents must find solutions as to how the separation can be organised in regard to access regualtions and future responsibilty for education. At this, a juidical solution is often the most problematic option, especially for the children.
In the context of a parents’ separation counsel the parents can receive support in regard to developing a kind of intercourse, that enables them in spite of their existing problems to act together as parents for the sake of their children.
