This dormitory is directly situated on the campus of the Medical School Hanover. Still, not only the Medical School but the good infrastructure and the vicinity to the municipal forest Eilenriede make the dormitory attractive. Furthermore, it is especially family-friendly: 24 apartments are reserved for students with children and student couples. All rooms have access to the Internet, the fee is already included in the rent.
There are several kinds of accommodation at your disposal, mainly single rooms in 2-room-apartments. You can also find single apartments and apartments with more than 2 rooms. The prices differ in regard to the size of the rooms. All rooms are completely furnished.

Please note: If you want to apply for a place in a Dormitory, please contact our Department for Student Residential Affairs (Jägerstraße 3–5), not the local Dormitory Management!

Self-Administration of the Dormitory (HSV)
The self-administration of the dormitory is elected from and by the group of the student residents. It keeps contact with the Student Administration, organises dormitory assemblies and parties, manages the students pub and sometimes arbitrates in case of dispute. The HSV is working complimentary. Suggestions and cooperation are always appreciated!
To find out the name of the HSV-members, consulting times and places of assembly please refer to announcements in the dormitory or ask the dormitory management.
Tutoring Programme in Dormitories
Within the framework of the Tutoring Programme for foreign students the student assistants offer consulting times. Some assistants attend to more than one dormitory – please pay attention to where the consulting times take place!

Shopping
Just a few minutes away there is the shopping centre at the Roderbruchmarkt. Here you will find several supermarkets, bakeries, a draper’s discounter etc. On Fridays, a weekly market takes place at the Nobelring / Nußriede.
Culture Round the Corner
Not too far away there are some pubs and restaurants as well as the Kulturtreff Roderbruch (Nobelring 3a), which offers regular cultural events. At the city centre which can be reached easily and quickly, there are innumerable cultural offers, from theatres and operas up to cinemas and museums. Sports
The dormitory has a fitness room of its own, which was implemented by the dedication of the self-administration of the dormitory. By being situated so closely to the municipal forest Eilenriede and the public park Hermann-Löns-Park, the dormitory offers ideal opportunities to go running or hiking. In summer the lido Kleefelder Bad (Haubergstraße 17) invites you for a swim.
