As part of the Tutoring Programme for International Students in Studentenwerk Accommodation, the student house tutors offer regular consulting times. Some tutors attend to more than one student house—please pay attention to where the consulting times take place!
"Hello! I’m Jakub, one of the two tutors for foreign students in the student accommodation Dorotheenstraße, Hanover’s largest student house. I'm studying computer science at the Leibniz University of Hannover. I speak German, English, some Spanish, and of course my native language Polish.
It would be my pleasure to help you with your new life in the student house or in Hanover. If you need me to accompany you to the authorities, seek information and tipps on your student or social life in Germany, don’t hesitate to contact me. You can reach me by e-mail or come during my consultation hours, in the tutors' room, which is located in the community centre (Gemeinschaftshaus) of the student accommodation.
I also regularly organise cultural events such as going to the cinema or to concerts together, and day’s excursions in or around Hanover. I'm there for your questions, just check the noticeboard in your building!"
